The Counties Manukau Sporthorse Cluster (now call NZ Sporthorse) have been working for some time on creating an equestrian venue at Puhinui. This will require a change to the district plan, and is intended to provide an events and equestrian sports centre for the Region (Northland - Auckland - Waikato) of world class quality.
